Day 1 Yangon Arrival & Night Train to Mandalay

Mingalar-bar! Upon your arrival to Yangon International airport, you will be welcomed by BFF Representative and transfer to Yangon Central Railways for your trip to Mandalay. If time permits, we go some local markets near this Railways to buy some necessary things for our railway trip. Our railway trip to Mandalay start in the afternoon. Travelling by train will make you the most attraction to explore Myanmar, because it often offers scenic views, meet & greet with locals and learn about the local life. Overnight on board.

Day 2 Glimpse tour of Buddhist Religious in Mandalay

In the early morning we arrive to Mandalay Central Railways and your car will wait in this Railways. After meet and greet with him, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Since we take a long railway trip from Yangon, we will take a rest at the hotel till Lunch time.

In the afternoon we visit to the famous Mahamuni Paya which houses one of Myanmar’s most sacred Buddha images covered with thick layers of gold leaf. Next we visit to Shwenandaw Monastery , noted for its exquisite wood carvings which are mostly done on teak wood and the renovated Atumashi Monastery . We continue to Kuthodaw Pagoda (World’s largest book) houses the Buddhist Scriptures inscribed on marble slabs. Then we visit to Mandalay Hill – a vantage point for panoramic views of the city. Overnight stay in Mandalay.

Day 3 Excursion to an Ancient City & Enjoy the sunset view over the lake “Taungtaman”

After your breakfast, we start journey to Inwa (Ava) – an ancient city on the banks of the Irrawaddy River near Mandalay. Sightseeing by a native horse cart to the remarkable wooden monastery of Bagaya Kyaung and Maha Aung Mye Bonzan – a historic Buddhist monastery. Next we climb up to the top of Nanmyin Watch tower and look the pleasant views over the river and Yadanarsimi Pagoda.

We next drive to picturesque Sagaing Hills , 21 km south-east of Mandalay and west bank of Ayeyarwaddy river. Sagaing Hills is a retreat for Buddhist devotees with numerous pagodas and monasteries. We proceed to Amarapura – a former royal capital and famous for its weaving and textile industries. We first visit a cottage industry workshop where we learn how Myanmar longyis and traditional fabrics are woven. Then we visit Ubein Bridge – the oldest and longest teakwood bridge in the world and built around 1850. Enjoy the pleasant sunset view over Taungtaman Lake on the bridge. After that, we drive back to Mandalay. Overnight stay in Mandalay.

Day 4 A Taste of Day Cruising along Irrawaddy River

Today we will have a chance to get the experiences of River life between Mandalay and Bagan. So, In order to fulfill our goals, we will have to wake up early morning because the day cruise departs from Mandalay at 06:00 AM. We will bring the breakfast box from the hotel and transfer to the jetty where your cruise will wait you. Our river cruising trip start depart from Mandalay at 6 AM and we will arrive to Bagan at around 5 PM. During sailing, we will get the fresh air and a chance to learn Myanmar river life. Enroute, we stop at the small village “Yandabo” which is famous destination for the pottery making ability of its habitants. We visit to the village and learn how to make a pot in the pottery workshop. After that, we continue sail to Bagan. In the late afternoon, we arrive to the jetty in Bagan and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight stay in Bagan.

Day 5 Explore the Ancient City “Bagan” by E-bike

Bagan is an ancient city on the banks of the Ayeyarwaddy River and one of the richest archaeological sites in South-east Asia. It named as UNESCO World Heritage site of Myanmar in 2019. To complete the pleasure time in Bagan, we explore around Bagan by e bike.

Tour highlight includes: Shwezigon Paya - a prototype of the Burma style of stupas, Gubyaukhyi Temple at Wetkyi-Inn with the great colourful mural paintings of Buddha tales, Htilominlo temple well known for its old mural, fine plaster carving and glazed sandstone decoration, Ananda temple - the Buddhist temple houses four standing Buddhas, the towering Thatbyinnyu Temple is the tallest in the complex, measuring 61m and take in Dhamayangyi Temple , the largest of all Bagan’s many temples. Overnight stay in Bagan.

Day 6 Bagan - Mt. Popa - Kalaw, By Night Bus

Breakfast at the hotel. Today we journey to Mt. Popa by private car. During driving, enjoying the great scenic beauty of the countryside along the road to Bagan. After 2 hours’ driving, we reach to the base camp of Mount Popa , an extinct volcano and the abode of the powerful spirits known as “Nats”. Then, we will climb the 777 steps to the shrine at the top and enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the area. We drive back to Bagan with a stop at local palm sugar makers hut. After arriving to the hotel, we take a rest and prepare for taking the night bus. In the late afternoon we transfer to Bagan Shwe Pyi Bus Station and join our night bus. Overnight on bus.

Day 7 Kalaw Sightseeing

We arrive to Kalaw in the early morning and we transfer to the hotel for check-in. Take more relax in the morning and our sightseeings in Kalaw start make in the afternoon. We first visit to Hnee Pagoda – a 500 year old bamboo Buddha and Shwe U Min Pagoda - a cave filled with golden Buddhas. After that, we take a walk in the surrounding hills and visit some Colonial Houses . After sightseeing, we return back to the hotel and overnight stay in Kalaw.

Day 8 Get a native village experience at The Hotel – Kalaw Hill Lodge

This Activities is only available for the guest who stay in The Hotel – Kalaw Hill Lodge. The Activities start at 07:25 AM from the Hotel – Kalaw Hill Lodge. Thus, we go to Reception and join with this activities. We start walk around the lodge after meet and greet with the group. Then, we reach to a 12 acre Organic Farm near the hotel and we start learn the technique of growing the organic farm traditionally. After that, we get a chance to join with the farmer to learn planting, treating and harvesting process. Next we try to get the great experience of Working with Buffalos . Working with Buffalos is a major source of wealth for Southeast Asian families and is still favoured in highland wet-rice areas where neither humans not machinery can move as easily through the deep, sticky mud fields. Feeding domesticated animal is a fun thing to do. Here we visit to the lodge farm where we meet say hello to friendly cows, running goats and happy chickens. After that, we try to make “Milking a Cow” , it could be of a real-life experience and can be of a super fan. While milking a cow, it gives a warmth touch and we are communicating with the cow touching with the hearts. We end our morning time with Riding Oxen Cart . After the activities, we return back to the hotel for relax.

In the afternoon we drive to Nyaung Shwe, a city near the marvelous Inle Lake. Arrive to Nyaung Shwe and we visit to Vineyards & Winery “Red Mountain Estate” where we can learn how to produce the wines from grapes. We make the wine testing and enjoy the nice panoramic view of Shan Mountains. After that, we transfer to the hotel and overnight stay in Nyaung Shwe.

Day 9 Inle Lake Sightseeing

Breakfast at the hotel. We journey out by boat in Inle Lake with a visit to well-known Nga Pe Chaung monastery and Silver Smith factory. Proceed to Cheroot making factory, Boat making carpentry workshop, Silk weaving factory. We complete a day with a visit to the famous Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda . Overnight stay in Inle Lake.

Day 10 Enjoy the Burmese Cooking Class in Inle Lake

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning we go to a local restaurant and join a Burmese Cooking Class. This Class will make you happy and get the best experience of Burmese Cuisines. This Class will finish after lunch and transfer to the hotel for relax. In the late afternoon, we make the check-out and transfer to the bus station where we wait for our night bus to Yangon. After our bus arrived, we join and drive to Yangon. Overnight on bus.

Day 11 Yangon Sightseeing

We arrive to Yangon in the early morning and we transfer to the hotel for check-in. Then, we take a relax for the whole morning before lunch.

In the afternoon we visit to

Bogyoke (Scotts) Market

, a major bazaar where you can find and buy hundreds of gemstone, handicrafts, art, clothes and local food stores. (Please note that the market is closed on Mondays and on public holidays.) We end our day with a visit to the 2,500 years old magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda shealthed in 11 tons of pure gold and 4,350 diamonds weighing 1,800 carats! Overnight stay in Yangon.

Day 12 Yangon Departure.

Breakfast at the hotel. We transfer to Yangon International Airport for your departure flight.
