Day 1Yangon Arrival

Mingalar-bar! Upon your arrival to Yangon International airport, you will be welcomed by BFF Travel guide and transfer to your hotel.

After the hotel check-in, we start a day tour in Yangon, a commercial capital of Myanmar and it’s the famous with historical Pagodas and the colonial-style buildings. Firstly we visit to Sule Pagoda , it built over 2,000 years ago and then the beautiful Maha Bandula Park with the Independence Monument. Then, we take a walk through the colonial buildings and visit the historic Post office . After that, we visit to the heritage Strand Hotel , where you will have a chance to taste Burmese High Tea (as own account). After that, we visit to Bogyoke (Scotts) Market , a major bazaar where you can find and buy hundreds of gemstone, handicrafts, art, clothes and local food stores. (Please note that the market is closed on Mondays and on public holidays.)

We end our day with a visit to the 2,500 years old magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda shealthed in 11 tons of pure gold and 4,350 diamonds weighing 1,800 carats! Overnight stay in Yangon.

Day 2Yangon - Heho - Inle Lake, (By Flight)

Breakfast at the hotel. We transfer to the airport for flight to Heho – a domestic airport and it’s gateway to the beautiful hills of Shan State. After arriving and drive to Inle Lake. Enroute to Inle Lake , we stop at a local family work shop where you will have to learn how Shan umbrellas and paper are made by traditional methods using the fibres of the mulberry tree. Then, we take a drive to Inle Lake a famous picturesque Lake with its floating villages, gardens and the way of life of the local Intha people. Arrive to Nyaung Shwe and transfer to Inle Lake by private boat for hotel check-in.

We journey out by boat in Inle Lake with a visit to well-known Nga Pe Chaung monastery and Silver Smith factory. Proceed to Cheroot making factory, Boat making carpentry workshop, Silk weaving factory. We complete a day with a visit to the famous Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda . Overnight stay in Inle Lake.

Day 3 Inle Lake Sightseeing

After breakfast, we explore Indein village , a small village located on the western bank of the Inle Lake. After a short boat trip, we arrived to the village and then visit to Shwe Indein Pa-O complex . From the hillside you have great view over the lake area.

On the way back to the boat, walk through a romantic bamboo forest at the riverside, where you may observe local people having a bath. On the way you can visit Myaynigone village and Lotus fiber weaving factory (Ann's). Enjoy the Canoe Boat and viewing the beautiful sunset with Shan Mountains over the lake. Overnight stay in Inle Lake.

Day 4 Inle Lake - Sagar - Phe Khon - Loikaw, By Boat

Enjoy the breakfast at the hotel. We start visit to off the beaten path of Loikaw . The trip will be discovered to the hidden tribal live of Padaung “long neck Karen” .

Firstly we take a boat trip to Phe Khon which is the gateway to drive to Loikaw. Afer 3-hour scenic boat journey from Inle Lake, where along the way, you will get to see interesting villages and immerse in beautiful landscapes. Tour highlight includes: Samkar Thar Khong Pagoda and some local workshops. After that, we continue to Phe Khon and then we drive (approx... 2 hours) to Loikaw. Enjoy the great scenic beauty of the countryside along the road to Loikaw. After arriving, we transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight stay in Loikaw.

Day 5 Loikaw Sightseeing

Breakfast at the hotel. In order to fulfill our goals of exploring the tribes of Karen, we journey to Pan Pet – a village where you can greet and meet with Padaung “Long Neck Karen” ladies wearing traditional brass rings on their neck and on other parts of their bodies. After that, we drive to the 15km outside of Loikaw where we visit Limestone cave Kyet Cave . At the entrance to this impressive cave, you can see the ancient wooden coffins, which are 2 to 15 feet long. We return back to Loikaw after visited. If time permits, we visit to Kayah State Museum where shows some detail on the tribes of Kayah State. We end our day with a visit to the impressive Taung Kwe Zedi , a cluster of stupas and walk ways built on the walls and on top of majestic limestone Karst Mountains towering at the edge of the city. Overnight stay in Loikaw.

Day 6 Loikaw - Kalaw, By Car

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning we visit to Demawso market where the tribal folks come trade their produce. Then, we drive to Kalaw, a popular hill station in the British days and it’s still a peaceful and quiet place. Enjoy the great scenic beauty of the countryside along the road to Kalaw . On the way, we stop at Myin Ma Hti Cave – a limestone cave which houses various holy shrines and Buddha images. We continue drive and arrive to Kalaw in the late afternoon. We transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight stay in Kalaw.

Day 7 Kalaw - Ywangan - Bagan, By Car

After breakfast at the hotel, we take a short walk to Kalaw Market where ethnic minority groups gather for trading. Then we will start our road trip to Mandalay through Ywangan , well-known for its clear blue lagoon where tourists and locals enjoy the magical view in a tranquil environment. Although Ywangan is just a small town, it’s famous for its coffee products. Therefore, we make a coffee tour in there and so you will get a chance to learn about the coffee plantation and processing. Enjoy the taste of their coffee after learning. After that, we drive to Bagan. Enjoy the great scenic beauty of the countryside along the road to Bagan. In the evening we arrive to Bagan and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight stay in Bagan.

Day 8 Bagan Sightseeing

Breakfast at the hotel. Bagan is an ancient city on the banks of the Ayeyarwaddy River and one of the richest archaeological sites in South-east Asia. It named as UNESCO World Heritage site of Myanmar in 2019.

In the morning we visit to Shwezigon Paya , a prototype of the Burma style of stupas and Gubyaukhyi Temple at Wetkyi-Inn , with the great colourful mural paintings of Buddha tales. Next we visit to the refined Htilominlo temple well known for its old mural, fine plaster carving and glazed sandstone decoration. Continue your visit at Ananda temple , the Buddhist temple houses four standing Buddhas, each one facing the cardinal direction of East, North, West and South. Proceed to the towering Thatbyinnyu Temple is the tallest in the complex, measuring 61m and take in Dhamayangyi Temple , the largest of all Bagan’s many temples. Overnight stay in Bagan.

Day 9 Bagan - Chin State towards Kanpetlet, By Car

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning we explore to Kanpetlet where the hidden tribes of Chin live. Enjoy the great scenic beauty of the countryside along the road to Kanpetlet. After long driving, we will arrive to Kanpetlet and we visit some villages if the time permits. We transfer to the local guest house for check-in and overnight stay in Kanpetlet.

Day 10 Hiking to Mount Victoria

After breakfast at the local guest house, firstly we transfer to the Mount Victoria and then we start our hiking day to the summits Mount Victoria after arriving to the base camp of the Mountain. Mount Victoria well-known Nat Ma Taung is the highest mountain in Chin State and is one of the ultra-prominent peak of Southeast Asia. During our hiking, you can be seen pine trees, many oaks, the several of Orchids. After hiking, we drive to Mindat and overnight stay in Mindat.

Day 11 Mindat Sightseeing

Breakfast at the local guest house. In the morning we visit to Chin Village where you can find members of the indigenous Dai , Upu and Ya tribes ; the older women of these tribes soprt full facial tattoos that differ in design according to their tribe. After that, we return back to the town and overnight stay in Mindat.

Day 12 Mindat - Bagan, By Car

Breakfast at the local guest house. We visit to the local market where ethnic minority groups gather for trading. After that, we drive back to Bagan. Enjoy the great scenic beauty of the countryside along the road to Bagan. Arrive to Bagan and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight stay in Bagan.

Day 13 Bagan Free & Leisure

Breakfast at the hotel. Free & leisure time in your hotel and you can visit to Bagan by your own arrangement. Overnight stay in Bagan.

Day 14 Bagan - Mandalay, By Flight

Breakfast at the hotel. We take a morning flight to Mandalay. Arrive to Mandalay airport and transfer to the hotel. On the way, we visit to Amarapura – a former royal capital and famous for its weaving and textile industries. We first visit a cottage industry workshop where we learn how Myanmar longyis and traditional fabrics are woven. Then we visit Ubein Bridge – the oldest and longest teakwood bridge in the world and built around 1850. We proceed to Mandalay and make the check-in at the hotel.

In the afternoon we visit to the famous Mahamuni Paya which houses one of Myanmar’s most sacred Buddha images covered with thick layers of gold leaf. Next we visit to Shwenandaw Monastery , noted for its exquisite wood carvings which are mostly done on teak wood and the renovated Atumashi Monastery . We continue to Kuthodaw Pagoda (World’s largest book) houses the Buddhist Scriptures inscribed on marble slabs. Then we visit to Mandalay Hill – a vantage point for panoramic views of the city. Overnight stay in Mandalay.

Day 15 Mandalay - Mingun - Sagaing - Mandalay, By Boat

After your breakfast, we embark on morning exploration of Mingun by private boat on Ayeyarwaddy River, 11km upriver from Mandalay where we visit Mingun Bell which weighs 90 tons and is one of the world’s largest bells. And continue to Hsinbyume Paya well known as Myatheintan Pagoda, was modeled after the mythical Mount Meru. Next we visit to Mingun Paya , intended to be the world’s biggest pagoda, is an overwhelmingly massive structure even though it remains unfinished. If we have time permits, we visit some local handicraft workshops of silk weaving, mats and alms bowls. After that, we return back to Mandalay.

In the afternoon we drive to picturesque Sagaing Hills , 21 km south-east of Mandalay and west bank of Ayeyarwaddy river. Sagaing Hills is a retreat for Buddhist devotees with numerous pagodas and monasteries. Overnight stay in Mandalay.

Day 16 Mandalay Departure.

Breakfast at the hotel. We transfer to Mandalay International Airport for your departure.
