Day 1Yangon Arrival

Mingalar-bar! Upon your arrival to Yangon International airport, you will be welcomed by BFF Travel guide and transfer to your hotel.

After the hotel check-in, we start a day tour in Yangon, a commercial capital of Myanmar and it’s the famous with historical Pagodas and the colonial-style buildings. Firstly we visit to Sule Pagoda , it built over 2,000 years ago and then the beautiful Maha Bandula Park with the Independence Monument. Then, we take a walk through the colonial buildings and visit the historic Post office . After that, we visit to the heritage Strand Hotel , where you will have a chance to taste Burmese High Tea (as own account). After that, we visit to Bogyoke (Scotts) Market , a major bazaar where you can find and buy hundreds of gemstone, handicrafts, art, clothes and local food stores. (Please note that the market is closed on Mondays and on public holidays.)

We end our day with a visit to the 2,500 years old magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda shealthed in 11 tons of pure gold and 4,350 diamonds weighing 1,800 carats! Overnight stay in Yangon.

Day 2Yangon - Bago - Kyaikhtiyo, By Car

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning we take a ride (approx. 2hr) to Bago, ancient capital of Mon and its famous pagodas. We first visit to Shwemawdaw Pagoda , built by the Mon people around the 10th century. At 114 metres (374 ft) in height, the Shwemawdaw holds the record for the tallest pagoda in Myanmar. Then, we visit to the four huge Buddha images of Kyaikpun Pagoda and the 55m long reclining Shwethalyaung Buddha.

After sightseeing, we continue drive to Kyaikhtiyo well known as Golden Rock –a huge boulder completely covered by gold leaves and delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff. The rock and the pagoda are at the top of Mt. Kyaiktiyo. It is the third most important Buddhist pilgrimage site in Burma after the Shwedagon Pagoda and the Mahamuni Pagoda.

Firstly we arrive to the base camp “Kin Pun” of Kyaikhtiyo and our vehicle has been stopped at the base camp. Thus, we will take a truck car to be continue to the summit where the Golden Rock located. Overnight stay in Kyaikhtiyo.

Day 3 Kyaikhtiyo - Hpa An, By Car

Enjoy the beautiful sunrise on the hill top and breakfast at the hotel. We take a ride down to the base camp and then drive to Hpa An , a capital city of Kayin State. Firstly we visit to Bayin Nyi Cave – known as the Bingyi Caves in the colonial literature and located in beautiful surrounding with a lake & pagoda. And visit to Kawgun Cave , a natural lime stone cave and rare Buddha images. Then, we transfer to the hotel for check-in.

In the afternoon we visit to Saddan Cave , a huge walk-through cave where you can discover the Buddhist items such as a reclining Buddha statue, a pagoda etc.. After visited, enjoy the small boat trip through a beautiful lake. Next we visit to Shwe Yin Hmyaw Paya and we end our day in there with nice views of the sunset. Overnight stay in Hpa An.

Day 4 Hpa An - Mawlamyine, By Car

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning we visit to Hpa An city center, especially around the market. Then, we start drive to Mawlamyine . On the way, we visit to Kyauk Kalap located in a monastery in the middle of a lake and

Lumbini Garden

at the foot of Mount Zwekabin which is a beautiful garden with 1080 Buddha images. Then, we continue drive to Mawlamyine (formerly Moulmein) is the capital city of Mon State. In the afternoon we arrive to Mawlamyine and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Special evening we visit to Kyaik Tan Lan Pagoda located at the top of Mount Than Lan where we can enjoy the nice views and a great sunset point from the pagoda. Overnight stay in Mawlamyine.

Day 5 Mawlamyine - Thanbyuzayat - Setse Beach - Mawlamyine

Breakfast at the hotel. We start our journey to Thanbyuzayat by car located 30 km south of Mawlamyine. After arriving at Thanbyuzayat, we visit to Thanbyuzayat War Cemetery which contains 3,771 graves of Allied prisoners of war who died building the death railway. Next we drive to Kyaikkami Yele Pagoda ; the shrine chamber beneath Yele Pagoda reportedly contains a Buddha image that supposedly floated there on a raft from Sri Lanka in ancient times. We complete a day with a visit to Setse Beach – one of the noted beaches in Myanmar and a very wide, brown-sand beach. Have a relax at the beach and then drive back to Mawlamyine. Overnight stay in Mawlamyine.

Day 6 Mawlamyine - Yangon, By Car

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning we visit around the city and then drive back to Yangon. Enjoy the great scenic beauty of the countryside along the road to Yangon. En route stop, visit the cemetery of allies and war graves around Htuk Kyan . In the late afternoon we arrive to Yangon and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight stay in Yangon.

Day 7 Yangon Departure.

Breakfast at the hotel. We transfer to Yangon International Airport for your departure.
